Finally got my patterns I ordered from Papercut, took a little over 2 weeks. I’ve been checking the letterbox every hour or so, the days I’ve been home and Yes, I like getting packages in the post ;)
Can’t wait for this week to end & my holiday to start, I’m going to test the circle top first. Need to check my stash if I have something good for the Watson jacket, otherwise I’ll just have to buy new fabric, poor me!
Stash Busting! Nr.4
Better weather today, so I could take some photos of the tunic I made yesterday afternoon. Simple, light & easy to make, next time I use this pattern, I’ll put the keyhole in the front & lower the front neckline about 2 cm =)
Pattern #117 from Burda issue 8/2009, really just a blouse, but I lengthened the pattern. Could have used another 5 cm on it, but whatever, it still looks cute. Weight – 120 grams (0,12 kilos) scraps to be thrown away – 15 grams & still have enough fabric left to make another blouse/tunic.
Stash Busting! Nr. 3
Spent a few hours this morning looking through all of my old & new Burda magazines & marked all patterns I’m interested in sewing.
Made myself new Pj’s & then spent most of the day rewatching Sex & the City episodes, while copying & cutting out patterns =)
The Pj’s are made in hot pink & red striped jersey, Weight – 115 grams (0,115 kilos) bigger scraps are being kept & 55 grams have been thrown away.
