Kladdkaka AKA Sticky Chocolate Cake
I managed to squeeze in some baking today, something I’ve been dying to do for a few months. I made a Swedish cake called Kladdkaka, AKA sticky or gooey chocolate cake, it’s very much like a brownie. Instead of making it as a cake, I made muffins, big & mini sized. I’ve also made this cake with banana…… it’s so so good, what could be better than chocolate & banana, with ice cream ;P
After I get the little one to sleep I’m going to treat myself to a muffin or two with ice cream, Nom Nom! :D
If only I could knit….. Long Lovely Mittens
If only I could knit, I’d knit these mittens, they look so cozy.

Wearable muslin Anna Dress – By Hand London
My lovely little son seems to have a Anti-sewing sensor, he wakes up whenever I plan on sewing & isn’t very happy sitting & watching me. I missed the sewalong that By Hand London had, so now I’m trying to get a little sewing done when I get a few minutes over or when the hubby is home.
This is hopefully going to be a wearable muslin, I got the fabric from my Mum & I have no idea how long she’s had it in her stash. I think she’s worse than me when it come to stashing fabric :)
Crocheted Midwinter Hat & Neckwarmer
Hat & neckwarmer complete & I’m ready for the cold that is starting to kick in here in the south of Sweden. I used up some stash yarn which is good – I also bought some new yarn (Bad Jennie), baby merino to make a hat for my son, I’ll get started on that soon.
My jumper is on hold for the moment, the cold weather makes me want to work with chunky yarn & the jumper will be more for spring I think.
Midwinter Hat Drops Design
It’s a horrible cold rainy day here, which feels like perfect weather to start a cozy hat for the coming cold months. Using up some of my stash yarn to make this Midwinter hat & later I’ll make the neck warmer too. As I have such a tiny head – I can buy hats in the kiddie department! – I will be making this in size 10/14 yrs. Think I might skip the pom pom, not sure yet though.
So many patterns, So little sewing time…..
Just a few of the sewing patterns on my I want to sew list, loveliness from Papercut Patterns, By Hand London & Colette Patterns. Wonder which fabric I should use for each of them, I might need help deciding, I have this one fabric that I keep changing my mind which pattern to make it in…………. In the mean time, I’ve crocheted a few more rows of my jumper.
